Why people assume electric costs more
It's an easy assumption to make. Electric cars cost more than petrol cars, so it seems reasonable that electric lawn care would work the same way. But mowing isn't like buying a vehicle. There's no fuel bill to pass on, no engine servicing built into the price, and no premium tech markup. Our pricing works the same way any local mowing service prices a job — by the size of your lawn and how often we're mowing it. The mower running on the day just happens to be electric.
What you actually pay for
Your quote is based on your lawn and your mowing cycle, not the equipment doing the work. Weekly, fortnightly, or monthly — that's what moves the price, along with the size of the job. That's it. No confusing pricing structures, no hidden fees, no "eco surcharge." We quote to the workload or your budget, so you know exactly what to expect before we ever start the mower.
Regular mowing only — here's why
We only take on regular, ongoing mowing clients now. Here's what that means for you:
- We're not chasing once-off jobs or single tidy-ups
- Your mow happens on a set cycle — weekly, fortnightly, or monthly through winter — so you're never wondering when we'll show up
- Because we're not juggling one-off jobs between regular rounds, our regular clients get a more consistent, reliable service
If you're after a single mow with no ongoing arrangement, we're not the right fit — and we'd rather tell you that upfront than take on work we can't service well.
What's included for regular clients
Once you're on a regular mowing cycle with us, hedges and light tree work — branching, topping, pruning, and safe removals — are available as an add-on. This isn't a general service we advertise to anyone; it's reserved for clients already on our regular mowing books. We keep our focus on doing the mowing side properly, and use your own green waste bin rather than running a separate waste removal service.
